Graduates will gain a deeper understanding of business issues related to the energy industry in a global economy. This program will look at the energy industry in Oklahoma, the United States as well as around the world.
Oklahoma is a leader in energy. OBU is here to help you become a leader in the energy industry. This degree program is designed to help you engage the energy industry with wisdom and discernment regarding issues of today and tomorrow. Courses are taught by professors who have experience in their field. You will interact with professionals from different sectors of the energy industry and Oklahoma City business community in general. This will not be a book-knowledge MBA. You will learn from leaders.
Your studies here can be shaped to fit your desired goals in your present position or the position you have your eye on. Our professors work with you to craft projects in line with your goals in the program. This is not a one-size fits all MBA. Your Capstone project will be designed and crafted by you as you look to current needs within your current company or that company you would like to start or join. Your MBA program is limited only by the constraints you place upon it.
At the OBU Graduate School, we utilize materials from our Ethics, Business Law and Leadership course to help you strengthen your business ethic. From time to time, students are encouraged and invited to attend an Oklahoma Business Ethics Consortium luncheon at the Petroleum Club. An MBA from OBU is not just a bunch of head knowledge. We want to produce graduates who not only succeed, but succeed in doing what is right.
Our Energy Management Certificate Program allows you to take our energy classes in a stand-alone fashion. You can earn a Certificate in Energy Management to compliment your current education and skill set.
