Keyboard Music Audition Requirements for Division of Music Admission and Scholarships

All prospective music majors must complete a music application and audition for the music faculty!

Keyboard

  1. Two Memorized pieces. Contrasting styles are preferred. Selections such as those required for major contests (OMTA, Piano Guild, National Federation of Music Clubs, etc.) are acceptable choices.
  2. Be prepared to play all major and minor scales in four (4) octaves.
  3. You will be given examples to sight read.
