The Bison Jazz Orchestra is an auditioned 20 piece jazz ensemble of the Warren Angell College of Fine Arts at Oklahoma Baptist University. The BJO is now under the direction of Kevin Pruiett who joined the faculty of OBU in the Fall of 2001. Members of the BJO come from Oklahoma, Texas, Colorado, California, New Mexico, Indiana as well as Costa Rica and the Dominican Republic. 

The BJO traveled to Vitoria and Sao Paolo, Brazil for a ten-day tour in the summer of 2008. To view pictures from the trip, click here.
