While performing over the years as a singer, actress, and handbell ringer for various University-sponsored events and productions, Norma Partridge has taught voice and related courses at OBU. In addition to her work at the University, Mrs. Partridge has enjoyed participating in Shawnee Little Theatre, a community theatre, as performer on stage, costume designer, make-up artist, prop mistress, board of trustees, and costume and house committees. She regularly teaches voice at the OBU All-State Summer Workshop. She has performed as soloist for various civic clubs and community events. In Shawnee, as well as many locations outside, Mrs. Partridge has served as soloist in oratorio, cantata, and church choir presentations. Since 1971 she has been a member of the sanctuary choir at University Baptist Church in Shawnee. In her free time Mrs. Partridge enjoys gardening, quilting, attending OBU basketball games, watching her husband, Jess, play golf, and visiting children and grandchildren.
