Associate Professor of Music and Director of Choral Activities, David De Seguirant is a 1986 graduate of OBU. He completed his masters and doctoral degrees in conducting at the University of Oklahoma. After a brief tenure as the Vocal Music Director for Ada Public Schools, Dr. De Seguirant accepted a position at the University of the Ozarks in Clarksville, Arkansas, where he directed the University Chorus and Select Ensemble, and taught courses in music theory, music appreciation, conducting, humanities, and voice. As Director of Choral Activities, De Seguirant directs both the Bison Glee Club and the University Chorale, and teaches courses in conducting and choral procedures. His extra-curricular pursuits include writing, golf, and family time with his wife, Malea, and their son, Matthew.
