The Division of Music is accredited by the National Association of Schools of Music. Every music major has the opportunity to develop professional competence through a program of study that includes a comprehensive music theory and aural skills sequence, performance studies, conducting, music history and literature, and ensemble experience. Specialized professional music study and a broad-based liberal arts education equip students for effective leadership and service.
