Since coming to OBU in 1985, Dr. Roger Hadley has continued to teach all levels of telecommunication courses. In 1993 and 1996, he received the Distinguished Service Award from OBU. In 2004, OBU presented him with the Distinguished Teaching Award. He has also received the Fred Tewell Outstanding Communication Educator award from the Oklahoma Speech Theatre Communication Association. In his free time, Dr. Hadley enjoys tennis, golf, wood carving, duck hunting, and fly fishing. He is a member of Immanuel Baptist Church in Shawnee. He and his wife, Wanda, have two children and five grandchildren.
