Strategic Communication

Strategic Communication is the choice for students seeking careers in public relations and advertising. Thus, many of the course options will involve corporate and mediated communication. Instruction will focus on giving you the tools to identify and analyze target audiences, to design and create effective messages and to implement and evaluate your particular communication strategy. This major seeks to educate students on the value of convergence and to acquire a variety of communication tools for use in the business environment.
