Commencement Information
Spring Commencement 2008 will be Saturday, May 17, 2008, at 10 a.m. in OBU’s John Wesley Raley Chapel. Dr. John McWilliams, assistant professor of natural science and the 2008 OBU Distinguished Teacher Award recipient, will deliver the Commencement Address.
Commencement Regalia
Cap and gown orders for Spring Commencement can be placed during Senior Salute. Senior Salute will be Tuesday, March 25, from 1 - 5:30 p.m., and Wednesday, March 26, from 1 - 5 p.m. in Geiger Center 222. For additional information, contact the OBU Bookstore at 405.878.2111.

Facilities/Accessibility
Andrew Potter Auditorium, inside John Wesley Raley Chapel, has a seating capacity of approximately 1,880. The auditorium includes a main level and a balcony.
For handicap accessibility to the auditorium, please use either the northeast or northwest entry doors. There are chairlifts to move from the entry level to the main floor level. The auditorium’s balcony does not offer handicap accessibility.
OBU’s Spring Commencement service usually lasts approximately two hours.
Photography
Professional photographers hired for the occasion will photograph each graduate at the time of diploma presentation. You will receive a free digital proof of each photo in the mail within 5 to 7 days following the ceremony. Further information on package prices will be sent to your home with these digital proofs.
