Dr. John Nichols teaches all levels of math courses including Honors Colloquium in Mathematics/Physical Science.  He has published and presented many articles including “Software Reuse Business Model Electronic Meeting System Review - A Successful Application of Groupware.”  In 2002, Dr. Nichols received the Seven Who Care Award from OBU.  He has also been named Who’s Who in the South and the Southwest and Chief of all Chiefs for the South Pinhook Nation of the YMCA Indian Princesses in Huntsville, Alabama.  In April 2004, he was named Area 3 Director for the Oklahoma Gideons.  He is currently a member of Immanuel Baptist Church in Shawnee.  He and his wife, Edna have two children, Chris and Cynthia, who attended OBU.
