Brad Jett has won numerous awards for his research, including the Dean’s Award for Applied Research, the Sigma Xi Young Investigator of the Year Award, and the OUHSC President’s Award for Basic Research. Prior to joining the OBU family, he was a recipient of a National Institutes of Health grant, and a former staff and faculty member in the departments of pathology, microbiology and immunology and ophthalmology at Washington University School of Medicine and the University of Oklahoma College of Medicine. Brad has led seminars at the University of Oklahoma, Washington University, Barnes Hospital at Washington University, and St. Louis College of Pharmacy. In the spring of 2002, Dr. Jett received OBU’s Promising Teacher Award. He is a deacon and Sunday School teacher at University Baptist Church in Shawnee. He also coaches soccer for the Shawnee Youth Soccer Association. Dr. Jett and his wife, Teresa, have two children, Jennifer and Hannah.
