Owens Hall 202 405.878.2201 | Dr. Sidney Watson teaches all levels of English courses including Freshmen English. She is currently the faculty sponsor for OBU's chapter of Sigma Tau Delta, the International English Honor Society. Over the years Dr. Watson has won many awards including the Irene D. Elliott Award for Excellence in Teaching award from the University of South carolina in 1995. Within the community, she is a tutor for the Pottawatomie County Literacy Action Council. She is also a member of University Baptist Church in Shawnee. Dr. Watson has three sons, Jamie, Robert, and Billy.
