In addition to teaching all German courses, David Nagle is the faculty sponsor for the German Club and the German Honor Society OBU chapter. His academic interests, in addition to German language and culture, include effective teaching methodologies, and appropriate integration of technology in classroom and online instruction. In October 2008, he completed a two year term as President of the Oklahoma Chapter of the American Association of Teachers of German. The last two years he also served on the board of the Oklahoma Foreign Language Teachers’ Association.
David serves as voluntary pastor at Hominy Friends Meeting, a 100 year old Native American Quaker fellowship in Osage County, where his wife, Beth and children Joseph (6) and Anika (2) are also members. David has studied and taught the Osage language.
