Dr. Andrew Armond primarily studies Victorian literature, particularly the Oxford Movement and the question of textual authority in the nineteenth century. He has also researched and written on various intersections of theology and literature in the nineteenth and twentieth centuries, including apocalyptic literature and theory, conversion and deconversion narratives, and theology, music, and literature.

In 2005, Dr. Armond won the Christine Fall Award for excellence in teaching from Baylor University, where he taught for four years. He has attended various colloquia on the relationship between Christianity and higher education and currently chairs the Faith and Disciplines committee at OBU. He also serves annually as a reader for the AP English Literature Exam.
