Retired United States Air Force Officer Jerry Goen teaches Marketing, Quantitative Methods in Business, Management, and Computers among other subjects at OBU. Over his 20-year career in the Air Force, Dr. Goen has been stationed across the country and around the world. He has received the United States Air Force Meritorious Service Medal along with the United States Air Force Commendation Medal three times. His Air Force duties included serving as flight crew member of B-52 bombers, operations officer strategic training range, executive officer, and staff engineer. He is a board member of Bison Federal Credit Union and the chair of the Supervisory Committee. He is also a member of Shawnee Christian Church. Dr. Goen’s wife, Linda, is a registered nurse at Unity Health Center of Shawnee. They have two children, Glenn Lee and Sandra D., both graduates of OBU.
