A 12-part series of lectures on Raley Chapel’s historic stained glass windows highlighted OBU’s Chapel services for the 2005-06 school year.
“The series grew out of our Vision Team's suggestion that it would be an effective way to highlight integration of faith and learning in our chapel services,” said Dale Griffin, OBU campus minister. “Since the Raley Chapel stained glass windows are an excellent resource of education, it was a perfect setting to use them as a focal point for this intention.”
Completed in 1961, Raley Chapel is adorned with 12 stained glass windows that tell stories in the histories of the great teaching fields, the principles of education, the tenets of the University charter, as well as the histories of a state and nation, of business and industry and of Christian faith.
